WE ARE PLANNING A CAMPING TRIP IN SEPT. TO KERR LAKE in N.C. WE HAVE KAYAKS AND WANT TO HAVE A CAMP SITE CLOSE TO THE WATER. CAN ANYONE DIRECT ME TO A MAP OF THE CAMP SITES? (J.C.COOPER) WE HAVE A 33' TT. ANYONE THAT HAS CAMPED THERE BEFORE MIGHT BE ABLE TO DIRECT ME TO A CERTAIN CAMPSITE.THANKS IN ADVANCE.
I had never heard of Kerr Lake, so being the curious person that I am, I googled it. On one link, I found 3 campgrounds listed. If you tell the good people of this site which one interests you, you should get some responses.
Addie, Look at: Kerr Lake State Park 6254 Satterwhite Point Road Henderson, NC Park has total 406 sites, some with power and water for RV hook up's. Price is $15-20 per night. Phone number is 252-438-7791 for more information on kayaks. They should also have a map into park. We have not been to this park yet.
