Lake Stephens Campground in West Virginia

    We're interested in going to Lake Stephens Campground in West Virginia and taking in some sites in Beckley, West Virginia. Has anyone been there?

    If you will go to the RV Park Reviews portion of this site, click on West Virginia, then click on Beckley, you will find a review of this campground. :( :( :(

    We stayed at Lake stephens in 2000 and enjoyed it. The road from Beckley (I77) to the campground has a few switchbacks but driveable. In the summer (we were there in July), there is a lot of summer livers there. Very friendly people, we enjoyed it. Laundry facilities are good. Sites are very narrow. Slides and awnings are not out at the same time Enjoy.

    Alternative: Try the Shady Rest Rv Park south of Beckley on 64. Super park. Going there tomorrow 5/15/05.
