Like to give a shout out to the R.V. park owners, management and park employees that run a good clean safe secure park. We had some friends recently come in to town Bakersfield CA. They stayed at the same R.V. park that they always use when traveling this direction.Mostly full timers, but cheap rate, close to freeway access. Usually stay about a week. Into the second day, they decided they could not stay in the park any longer. The pungent smell of weed in the air off and on, and when talking to the management they said she talked and moved so fast you could not understand a word she said. To top that off two full timers got into a physical confrontation in the street. Not whunting there stay to be a bad one, I introduced them to a beautiful R.V. park in a nice area next to the river about 9-10 miles down the 99 freeway from where they were staying.A few dollers more but the rest of their stay was a relaxing and pleasant one.
As a campground manager I would like to say thank you. We manage a small campground, without lots of fancy amenities but we do work hard to be sure this place is safe, quiet and clean. We try to make people feel they are welcome here and see that they are happy with their spot. It is nice when someone takes the time to say something nice to us. Many of us that are employed at a CG get taken for granted by the owners and campers so a compliment is always welcome.
ad - did you post a review here? we are always looking for a good rv park (and it helps to know the name of the park) regards, pdq

You can go to the reviews of parks in bakersfield ca area. You will find it is the only one with River Run in its name.
QUOTE(Kirk @ Apr 1 2012, 11:56 AM) Reviews would be appropriate for both parks discussed. Kirk I think what I first wrote told it all. Thanks KIRK

a.d there is no reason for you not to post a review. Why tell us about a bad experience and leave 100's of others in the dark about that CG? The purpose of this entire website is to help as many fellow campers as possible.
The forum will only be looked at by a small group of people. The reviews will be looked at by a wide group of people. We all need good information so write the reviews.
