Since this valuable site added pop up ads I've been having the site stop working with an error message something like: Site has stopped working due to a very long script. Stop Script? When I stop the script the ad plays and everything returns to normal. I'm using Explorer 11 on Windows 7 platform. I truly appreciate your need to sell better ads and I fully realize the need to generate income and maintain no membership fee, but if this is a bug in your system, you need to be aware of it.

    Thanks,

I have never seen this error. I stopped IE years ago and switched to Firefox and then about a year ago went to Chrome. I like it much better and it is less prone to viruses. Give it a try.

I am not a computer expert, but that is not going to stop me from commenting. It is my understanding that technically what you see on this website are banner ads not pop-ups. I have never seen a true pop up ad on this site, but if you are getting them, you might consider using a pop up blocker. If you are actually referring to the banner ads, you might try raising your security setting. That might reduce or eliminate the banner ads.

I also changed to Firefox ages ago. Through that I got AdBlock Plus, free, and never see any ads on any site. Firefox really is much easier to use than IE and provides the opportunity to block ads.
