We are traveling in a Travel Trailer. Most campgrounds in the Northeast/New England States do not open for business until mid to late May, because of the very good possibility of cold temperatures and or snow/ice during the month of April. April snow storms can drop over a foot of snow, although do not normally last very long, can melt in a day or two. Most owners do not return from their southern accommodations to their businesses until mid to late April to get ready for repairs and the start of another camping/rving season. Another condition that may exist this early is what we locals call the "mud season", and mud it is !!!! April weather can run the full gamut...good or bad. It's surely a gamble, if you could find accommodations at this time of year. May not be very pleasant rving at this time of year. Would personally think of a later time....say mid to late May.
Thanks for the reply. We are very aware of the New England conditions as we live near Cape Cod. We are attending a 4H seminar out that way and were hoping to send the night. I will keep hunting around and see what we can find. Thanks again!
We stayed at the SunsetView RV Park last April....about April 10th, I think. It is south of the Mass Pike near Monson. Nice park....a little hard to find.
Thanks- I called and they dont open till April 15th we are looking for April 5th. Thanks for the feed back.

Sorry, did not know of your location and did not want you to be unaware of the possibility of Northeast/New England bad weather. Glad others have enlightened you as to a possible location of a Cg. Safe travels...
