Wish we could get out of town for the long weekend, but that isn't going to happen. We are having a celebration on the Memorial Day for my son's 24th birthday and on Saturday, hubby and son are taking their jeeps to the mountains to go off roading. It will be nice to just relax though. The in-laws have been here for a visit and just left so I am looking forward to a little peace and quiet.
Spending the weekend with family and friends around the pool and BBQ grill. Mama leaves with her mother and sister on Monday for a week in Vegas, then just as they return I must leave on a business trip to Fort Irvin, CA (Barstow) for 2 weeks. THEN, maybe, mama an I and the dogs can go back up north for some trout fishing. Happy Holiday from 53 years of active Uniform service. Oldsoldier(s)
