Hi all, Just finished stuffing the turkey and will soon pop it in the oven (apple pie is occupying that space at the moment). Seasons Greetings to all.
We just got back from breakfast and opening gifts at one daughter's house, and in a couple of hours we'll head over to the other daughter's house for Christmas dinner. We've found the holidays are much more relaxing since the kids took over all the "fixing" chores. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all!
Merry Christmas to you all. I hope you had a safe and relaxing day. We did with our daughter and son-in-law. If you are in the cold part of the country like us.....stay warm. If you are lucky enough to be south.....enjoy. Darrell & Jeredene
My wife gave me a coupon for the trip to Nova Scotia that we were to take last summer, but was interrupted by my open heart surgery. Yipeeee.
Our Christmas was quiet. We didn't even have a single RV check in which is unusual for Christmas day. We stayed warm but, even in Central TX, it is cold. Right now at 11 AM it is 32 with a wind chill of 22. Not cold for some but we had 80 degrees here last week it feels really frigid to us now. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone!
Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy 2013 to all of you! We're going to get our granddaughters this afternoon for a few days. It's certain to be lively! And to Lindsay Richards, try to make it to Nova Scotia in time for the Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo! You can find out about it and see videos here: http://www.nstattoo.ca
Had 16 people over at our sticks and bricks home to enjoy turkey and all the trimmings. Lots of fun, but glad it's over. After everyone left, the dishes were all put away, and the kids were playing with their new toys, the wife and I got out Rand McNally and started planning out next trip in spring break. Looks like Calif., Universial Studios, Knotts Berry farm and Huntington Beach. Hope it's warm enough to swim!
