I would suggest getting on the phone tomorrow, and calling local campgrounds in the area. Talking to the parks might get you a site or on a waiting list.
I just check Beaver Lake in Custer SD. They have some openings. You don't say what kind of site but I just searched Full Service Back in and a few came up right away. https://beaverlakecampground.net/ Custer is very near Rushmore etc. Hope this helps Darrell
