It seems that any review I entered after Labor Day has not been approved and when I look at the information under My Controls I am told that I haven't made any reviews. I had made 194 reviews up until the end of August and now all of a sudden I do not exist? I changed my on screen name following the directions given. BTW - I have never EVER received an email notice that my review had been posted - I didn't know that feature existed. I have been submitting reviews since 2005 - but apparently my reviews are no longer wanted. Barb
Just curious....I changed my screen name to Luvtheroad and I show up as Luvtheroad, but I have to log in under my old name. If I try to log in under Luvtheroad, it doesn't work. It doesn't make any difference to me, but will we be keeping our old names for log-in purposes?

Your reviews are definitely in our system under your old user name. Obviously, our effort to patch the old system to permit people to change their display names has not been 100% successful.

Barb Does your account here have your current email address? Go to the My Controls link here in the forum. Your email address will be shown in the upper right section of that page. You can correct it using the Change Email Address link on that page. I always receive email confirmations of my reviews, and I too have been submitting them here since 2005.

I used to get emails from the system and that stopped more than a year ago. My email address is correctly shown in My Controls. No it's not the name change issue; I didn't change anything about my account and the emails stopped coming many months ago. There's a bug in the old software that's causing this.
I know the bug is in the old system, but recently it seemed like the members (some of them at least) who are no longer getting the email notifications are the ones who have changed their username. I didn't change mine, and I am still getting notices. I'd pursue this more if we weren't updating the system soon, but hopefully the new site will iron all of this out.

I think the bug may have been far more widespread than we had realized. Quite a few people are making statements like "I never get emails from RVPR, my reviews just show up."
