We are going to Niagara Falls in a few weeks and trying to make reservations for a nice campground. We have children and want somewhere that offers at least a pool. We prefer the actual woodsy type rather than the resort type (parking lot) when available. Any suggestions? I use this website all the time to look at campground reviews but I have not found a way to look at Canadian campgrounds - am I missing something??? Thanks

    dana,

No Canadian sites on this board, only USA sites. We were at Niagara falls this past fall. Not a lot to pick from here. Look in Good Sams and this board to see if you can find what you need. I see a couple sites under Niagara Falls. We went over into Canada to look for sites also and were not happy over ones we found. We used Niagara Falls Campground & Lodging. Site is six miles from falls. Site had a pool and had large trees to park under. Lot of good places to eat close by. That is a plus!

Thanks for replying. We are going through Pennsylvania (Hershey and Lancaster) up to Niagara then coming back through the Outer Banks - we're from GA - I was hoping for other camper's input. We're open for suggestions...

Thanks again - I enjoy reading and look forward to becoming an active poster.

We stayed at this campground for a weekend last summer.

We didn't use the pool, but saw other people in it. The sites were pretty good; grassy, very level, average width, mostly pull-through. Reservations are a good idea. It is a short drive to the falls around 10 - 15 miles. It is very close to the Whirlpool jetboats (that's what we were there for) and there is a bridge to cross over to the Canadian side fairly close.
