Hey folks. Just to let you know.....spring has finally come to northen New England and we are on the road again. Left Maine (and it's 91 inches of new snow in the last 10 days) on Saturday. We are in Niagra Falls, Ontario, on our way to Detroit. Although portions of Mass and NY are still flooded, we saw lots of daffodils in bloom once we got to central NY. Temps have been in the 70ies for the past 2 days, so SNOWBIRDS, perhaps, it is time to head home. Once I am through w/surgery in Detroit, we are headed for the warm sands and beautiful beaches of South Carolina. A good place to recover, as far as I am concerned. So good spring/summer travels to you all. And remember, "As Maine goes, so goes the nation." So if I can get out of my driveway with 91 inches of new snow (it took the whole neighborhood to get us out), it's time for you all to head out as well. Happy travels, everyone....and thanks for all the useful info on RV parks. This site is very helpful.
Don, hope you have a fabulous trip. I am ready to hit the road, but still have to wait a while. We went out to the storage lot today to check on the Rv and being in it, even for a few minutes, makes me antsy to drive off into the sunset. Stay safe and hopefully you will soon be in warmer weather.

It was only 80 degrees in the daytime with overnights in the 40-50 range slept with the windows opens.... Opppss there I go again..... You'll get your time to go soon as we all stop by the the BBQ at your house in that nice new kitchen....lol Sorry just had to tell you. Take care Cheryl. Brian
Don, hope you have a wonderful time and a safe trip. I could not believe my eyes when they showed homes in Maine falling into the ocean from the storms!!!!
Oh Brian, you had just had to rub it in, didn't you??? I am glad you had a good time - enjoy these special times with your son...they grow up so quick. I really wish we had started rv'ing back when the kids were younger and could have gone with us. Not that they would have wanted to, but back then, I could force them to do things! Daytime highs in the 80's, huh...I have a vague recollection of that.

Mainedon, Safe travels, hope surgery goes well, and recovery is uneventful, and restful. May the wind always be at your back. Good luck. We just got the motor home out of storage on this last Saturday, and have started to get it ready to go out three weekends out of four during the month of May. Will be good to be out & about with our camping group and friends. Spring is coming slow but sure. On the road again, sounds "good".
