Does anyone know of a nice safe RV park in or very near Mesa AZ? This will be for 2 females camping alone, so we're concerned that it be in a safe neighborhood. We're not so concerned with a pool or other amenities,b ut we do need full hookups. Thanks!
There is a KOA in Mesa which should fit your criteria. It's pricey and a big gravel parking lot but then again it had a nice pool. In case you might be interested there are also parks operated by Maricopa County around the periphery of the area in beautiful desert settings for $18 a nite. Downside is that they are water/elec. at the site. There is a dump station. Here's a link. I think McDowell Mountain might be closest to Mesa.......or Usery. We've stayed at Cave Creek on the north side and love it. Heard many good things about the two mentioned above. Maricopa County Parks with RV sites
