I have recently submitted my first review on Marylands Cherry Hill Park campground . I understand the moderators are very busy this time of the season and are doing an excellent job. The thing is I see that there has been about 5 recently approved reviews on this park but they are ALL on the same review not any new ones. What am I missing ? Thanks for the help.
Not sure what you mean by they are the same review. Is this your first review? Generally I believe your reviews are held until you have submitted your first 3 reviews before they start to get posted. So continue to camp and submit reviews and all will be good.
Gary thanks for the response. I'll try to explain what I mean. If you go to state of Maryland folder from the home page. Then scroll down under the adds you can see all the " latest reviews of Maryland ". That's the list of recent approved reviews ? Click on Cherry Hill Park ( there are 5 of them ) They are all the same review not a " new " review. I understand the time delay to see my review I only submitted it a few days ago. No problem. Am I missing something ?
I see what you mean, Mamaluca. It appears to be a glitch in the way the list is created from the approved reviews, rather than the reviews as they are actually posted. Clicking on any of the Cherry Hill Park listings takes you to just the new review that was posted, with no duplicates. With the new site software due to go online very soon, it's not something that's likely to get looked at by the administrators.
Ok. I THINK I understand. I'll know / understand once my review gets approved and posted if it's on top ( by date visited ) of the last posted review. Just didn't understand why so many approvals (5) of the same review . Seams like redundancy. Thanks
When I first read all this I did not understand what you were talking about, but with the explanation in post #3, I now see the problem. And yes, there does appear to be a glitch. However, we still did not approve the same review 5 times. What happens is when you click on any of the reviews on the recent reviews page for Maryland, the system takes you to the newest review. It should go to the review that the entry was originally created for. In fact I went to the bottom of the page and clicked on the last review listed for Cherry Hill and the system still displayed the most recent review. Then I tried it with the listings for another park and even another state and got the same results, so there is definitely a problem. This is not what the system is it is supposed to do, and I am not sure how long it has been like this. All that said, NYDutch is correct; our programmers' time and efforts these days are going toward getting the new site ready. However, I will let them know about the problem anyway, and they may choose to work on it. Finally, I checked on your review for Cherry Hill, and we do have it. This is the only review you have submitted, so we will look forward to getting more from you.

Not sure if the situation has gotten worse. Now if you go to Maryland / College Park / Cherry Hill C/G the lead page shows 18 approved reviews on this park but when you click on CHP it only shows 3 posted reviews ? I don't understand.

Look at the bottom of the third review and you will see a link that says "Display older reviews for Cherry Hill Park" Clicking there will display about a gazillion other reviews for CHP going all the way back to 2001.
