On our next long trip, we will spend an evening near Dayton OH. I had ruled out Wright Patterson AFB Famcam since none of our family is military, but the I realized, my wifes parents will be with us, and her dad is retired Army. With that designation, would we be able to spend a night at that campground?

    thanks,
    chris g.

If he has a military ID you should be able to. But I am not an authority. I'd call them.

Your father-in-law is retired service member he can reserve a campsite using his military ID. I would just call ahead you can call ahead 60 days in advance, the park is not very big, so it fills up pretty quick. Yes I agree call them and get all the information you need Good luck.
