Rio Grande Valley sites for February

Any recommendations for rv sites close to South Padre. Looking at Brownsville and Los Fresno areas. Decided we did not want on South Padre itself because of the wind and salt. Any recommendations appreciated.

 

Take a look at Mustang Island State Park and Goose Island State Park!

 

Neither of these are near South Padre Island. They're not even all that close to North Padre Island!
