We are renting an RV for 6 weeks in April/May 2011.
We are Aussies and are not familiar with RV's.
The expected length is 25' but the RV might be as big as 31'.

Will we be able to travel through national parks of Utah,Colorada,Arizona ?
I wonder if the RV's are too big to stop at lookouts/viewpoints etc....?
Is it a case of leave the RV in the campground and find other ways to get around (a problem as shuttles are limited)

    advice is appreciated!!!!!!!!!

We were in Yosemite last spring and the drive up to Moro Dome and Parker Grove precludes RVs over a certain length (I think it is 30 feet, but I am not certain). The tunnel in the east entrance to Zion also has a size restriction (I believe); but there is another entrance into the park with no restrictions. Those are the only two I know of.

A 25-31' RV will have no trouble in most national parks, viewpoints, rest areas etc.

You will have no problem with the tunnel at the east end of Zion. We have driven it in our 40-footer. Here are the details: Zion-Mount Carmel Tunnel
