looking to camp in east TN end of April. Prefer sites with water/elec. where you are not on top of your neighbor and have ample space between sites. Any suggestions?
If you can go a little farther east and up the hill to Asheville, NC, we like the Lake Powhatan Recreation Area campground. The photo below is our favorite site there. Oh, and it's full hookup, but not all the sites there are.
Sure! The photo is of site 38 on the mis-named "Lakeside" loop. Hint: The loop is not lakeside or even lake view. There are several other large sites on the loop though, as well as on the other water/electric loops.
