Made my first trip recently to Sisters/Bend Oregon area. Parked the new trailer at the Bend-Sisters Garden RV park and loved the whole experience. Learning all the new things that I have never done before regarding the RV park. Looking forward to a few short trips near home just for the experience before venturing out to far away places. Would love to try the snow bird thing down south to get out of the Oregon rainy winters.
Welcome to the "World of RVing". Glad to hear you chose a nice park to toss out your anchor for the first time. Never been to this park but have checked out the reviews and it is on our list to go to. Be sure to write a review when you have time and let everyone know what your impressions about the park were. You live in Oregon so if you get the chance on one of your upcoming short trial trips, etc. check out 7 Feathers RV Resort in Canyonville. "It don't get much "mo betta" than it. When you get set to head south, give the forum a head's up and I'm sure you'll receive some good recommendations on where to stay, etc. I can give you a couple that I can almost guarantee you'll enjoy.................... Safe and happy travels, Bankshot
Welcome aboard Tim. As BankShot notes, let us know when you want to "dry out" a bit. We've got you covered
Hi Tim, Welcome to RVPR! Lots of good folks here for advice or if you have experiences to share! See you on the open road and safe travels! Mike
Google "Texas Hill Country", then come on down for mild, dry Winters, wonderful people, and beautiful country. I enjoy writing reviews, but we arrived at our Winter home here in the Hill Country last week and that will be the end of park reviews for six months.
Welcome aboard, Tim! I'm sure you'll be making some great memories as you explore this great country of ours!
Thanks for the welcome, Bankshot, I have my eye on the 7 feathers and it's on my list. Just need some nice weather and I am off to visit several place in Oregon.
