Just purchased our first RV and are ready to start to enjoy the next segment of our lives. Really have enjoyed reading the park ratings and comments as we prepare our maiden voyage to the Oregon coast, about an hour away.

Welcome to the group. Your maiden voyage being about an hour away is great. It's not too far to go if you didn't pack a serious essential (just in case you missed an essential). You also chose a beautiful place to go. We have been along the coast from Port Angeles to Malibu but we think The Oregon section is one of the nicest areas.

We try to be a helpful bunch here. If you have any questions or concerns there is usually someone here that can offer some advice. And just because you feel you might be a "newbie" doesn't mean that you shouldn't jump in where you can to offer the rest of us what words of wisdom you can share.

We know you will enjoy your new home on wheels. Congrats!

Hi and welcome to the forum. We like to spend as much time in Oregon as we can and will be out on the coast at Winchester Bay for a week at the end of July. Our favorite RV park, we really enjoy our stays there. When traveling I-5 thru Oregon we always seem to stay a night or two in Canyonville at Seven Feathers, another really top notch park. A maiden voyage is exciting and we hope yours proves be just that. As long as you have "all your ducks in a row" and know the main things about your RV, it should go smoothly for you. If you do have any questions about certain roads or areas, etc.or just need some tech info, jump in with a post and you're sure to get a bunch of members that will respond and be very willing to lend some advice or assistance................

Travel safe and have a great first trip, BankShot..............(aka Terry)

Welcome aboard. Like your new Class C, I'm no help on the west coast but hoping you can help us out someday when we make tracks out your way, so post lots of reviews!

    See you around the campfire
