Hi! We are new to RVing and looking forward to a few relaxing get-a-ways. We have a 39', 2006 Winnebego-Adventurer and are going over to St. Augustine for a few days. It's our 35th. aniv. next month. Some of the reviews I've read are a little unsettling and I would like more personal insight. Any comments about North Beach Campresort? Any other ones that would be good for us "first timers"? Thanks for your help. acmom
We always stay at the Bryn Mawr Camp Resort. There are many seasonal/park models but if you reserve a site close to the beach or one that backs up to the dunes you'll be pleased. Normally we avoid all campgrounds that play host to mostly seasonals but this place is the exception. St. Augustine is one of our favorite winter destinations and this resort has it all.
Second the suggestion about Bryn Mawr. Esp if you are new. With a unit that big you might have a bit of trouble at Anastasia. There are even a lot of pull throughs at Bryn Mawr. If you don't have a tow vehicle, it is only a $10 cab ride to downtown.
