How to we register, get license plates, for our RV if we are full time travelers and have no brick and mortar house. The RV is currently registered in NC but we don’t want to have to go to NC every January for state inspection and license renewal.
Many fulltime RV'ers establish a domicile in one the RV friendly states, Florida, South Dakota, and Texas. Those three have no state income tax, and other than an initial visit to transfer registrations, drivers licenses, etc, most transactions can be handled by mail. The Escapees RV Club has some good information for establishing yourself in those three states. https://escapees.com/education/domicile/
I should have added to my above post that while the Escapees info does recommend their own mail forwarding service, which is a good service, is not the only ones available in those states. A little research may turn up one that better serves your particular needs. That does not invalidate the rest of the information of course.
