Vegas is a stop on our Southwest US trip. We have a 30 ft travel trailer. We can have three nights free lodging on the strip but where can we store our trailer during our stay?
The only thing I can suggest is to register it at one of the "minimalist" parks such as the one at Main Street Casino and leave it there. When we stayed there it was <$20/night so the costs are fairly modest even thought it's more than you really need.
Offhand I'd say docj's suggestion is a good one. You are getting 3 free nights at a hotel/casino and parking your trailer at the Main Street Casino park for just $20 a night seems very reasonable in that the trailer will be safe while you leave it there. Not only that but you can probably use the shuttle from the main hotel/casino on the strip to pick you up and take you back thus avoiding the fairly high cost of a cab. Easy, quick and inexpensive way to go IMHO. Have a fun trip and toss a buck onto the roulette wheel pad on slot # 11 for me. If it's a winner you can keep the winnings and have beer on me....... BTW, Main Street has a brewery on site that is pretty good, so now you know where to spend those winnings :-D
A few years ago we were in Vegas and had free nignts available in new york, new York, we asked the management where we could park our 32' motorhome. They offered their parking garage free of charge. The first floor of the garage was more than tall enough for the unit. Chris G. Westminster, CO
Actually, there are 5 places you could park an RV: Truck Stops, Casinos, Walmarts, Schools and Private Property. But the specific must be decided according to the actual situation.
