We are looking for a place to stay during Spring Break. Would like place easy in/out. Would like close to beach and fishing. Prefer nice, quiet, private camping experience.
Need pool, gameroom, etc for children. Would like shade. Thank you. :D

On Hilton Head Island you have two very good places. If you have a class A or C you can stay at Outdoor Resorts/Motorcoach. If you do not have an A or C you can stay at Outdoor RV Resort & Yacht Club. Boats park next to RV's at yacht club and park is on Intracoastal Waterway. You can salt water fish here also. Kids have a large pool and game room in park. You have less shade trees here. The shade trees are at motorcoach park, large number of trees in park and lot of toys to play with. In winter months parks may be full, summer months are no problem.

In Savannah try Skidaway Island State Park. Stay away from "Bell Woods Campground".

If you need more information let me know.

:) Thank you for the info. We have a 5th wheel camper. What is wrong with Bell Wood's? I found the Outdoor Resort online. Thanks again.

    Dcyrus,

Go to Savannah, Ga and look at the RV Park post on Bellaire Woods Campground. The camp site is not bad, only the people who own it. This place is so bad it was on RV.net post number of times. One person cut out the comments and email list to people who own park, answer back as "SO WHAT".
We have been to site couple times and each time it was the same bad treatment. I walked in and first words was "what do you want?" The people will go out of business soon.

    You will like Outdoor Resorts.
