I have a 5th wheel with a 6 Gal. suburban 6 gal water heater(SW6DE). It has no temperature control and seems like a small leak. Is it possible to replace it with an atwood which has a thermostat? Or is there a thermostat for this model?

    Thanks

The answer to both of your questions is, "Yes". As Mike found, your Suburban does have a thermostat, and Atwood does have models that will fit in the same space as your Suburban, albeit possibly with a very slight bit of trimming if the Suburban opening was cut really tight. Suburban lists their 6 gallon size at 12-11/16"x12-11/16", while Atwood lists their 6 gallon at 13"x13".

    Hi,

What makes you think it is leaking?

    Hi,

What makes you think it is leaking?

When I use the shower so the tank heats up I find a small bit of water inside just below the tank near the front where the control is, not by the hot/cold inlets. The pressure relief valve is not dripping so it's not that I think.

    Hi,

    Is the drain plug leaking?
