To all RVparkreviews members, This is a most difficult message to write, and it is with great sadness that I need to let you know that John Blue passed away Monday afternoon. Details are sketchy at this point, but apparently he fell off a ladder onto concrete. He was rushed to a trauma center but could not be saved. I know some of you have known John for many years, so if you would like to express your condolences to his wife Sue, please use the “Contact Us” button on the website. These will go to the webmaster who will forward them to Sue when she is ready to read them. It is just so hard to believe this has happened. Please keep Sue in your thoughts.

John has touched many lives here on this website and if he was half as helpful and kind in person as he was here, he was quite a man to know. He will be missed greatly. RIP John. My thoughts are with his family.
Have been sick at heart ever since TexasRvers posted this. I climb all over the place, with ladders and without. Never really give it a thought. This tragic news about one of "us" has sobered me greatly. Dear John Blue, you will be missed.
I have spoken to John’s wife Sue and have a few more details about his accident. They were selling a house that they owned that was right by where they lived. It needed some work done on the roof, so John wanted to get the leaves off before the contractor came the next day. Sue began making lunch, but when he didn’t come home to eat she went to look for him and found him on the cement. He was conscious and said he had fallen about 10-15 min. before she got there. He said when he was ready to get down from the roof, he stepped onto the ladder, and it slipped causing him to fall. Apparently he was wearing one of those backpacks that you use with leaf blowers and that probably was a contributing factor to him losing his balance. 911 was called and a team of paramedics arrived and immediately transported him to Tampa General. He was attended to by a trauma team in the ER and was then taken into surgery. They removed his lung that had been punctured, but the surgeon told Sue there was extensive internal damage, and his heart could not handle the trauma. He was 73. Sue appreciates all your thoughts and expressions of sympathy as do the rest of us here at Rvparkreviews. He will certainly be missed on the website and as a wonderful friend.
Thank you for this update. It just makes me sick at heart to think of John no longer being "here" with us and for us - to help everyone and answer our questions. His wry sense of humour had no match. He really will be greatly missed.
