We are negotiating a contract for Thousand Trails including LT & N and RPI. We are also considering a resale. Has anyone purchased a resale and were you satified? Or did you have a bad experience? Also, are you happy with Thousand Trails? Thanks for you resonse.

We joined Thousand Trails last April and paid for a new membership and couldn't be happier. We plan to travel with our RV about 6 to 7 months a year and after paying our membership fee will only need to pay a $449.00 maintenance fee each successive year. If we continue with that amount of use of TT campgrounds, it won't be long before we have recouped our upfront membership costs. It really works out well for retired folks like us. We plan to go from B.C. to S. California throughout the entire summer period (June through August) next year staying only at Thousand Trails, NACO and LT campgrounds. If we were not TT members the same amount of RVing using other State, Federal and private campgrounds would cost us an average of $22.00 a night or over $1900.00 ($22.00 x 90 nights = $1980.00). Having guarded entrance gates gives us peace of mind knowing are camp is safe when we leave for the day to tour the area. So far, we have never had a problem with any of the TT campgrounds being full or unavailable.
