Hi - we are interested in going to Green Lake State Park near Syracuse. Now I am reading a lot about ticks there. My son was diagnosed with Lyme last year, and is great now, but now I am worried. I think it is a problem everywhere in upper New York, but we are looking for a spot in that area. It looks gorgeous. Has anyone stayed there, and is it a huge problem? We are also going to Maryland, Penn. and Delaware, so I know we will run into ticks, but it seems like this area is worse. Thanks!
Did you ever get a reply to this? or did you travel to the park, I am going there in June and just discovered the articles about the ticks and am concerned with my son and dogs? Thanks
