We have a 28 foot travel trailer and the owner's manual says to pump up the tires as recommended on the tire itself. Our tires only say, a max. of 50 lbs. My husband was wondering if anyone knew the ideal tire pressure for our trailer. We are heading out to Myrtle Beach tomorrow. Thanks
There should be a label on the exterior on the left side toward the front of your unit which has tire size and tire pressures on it. Enjoy-safe travels.
roanokecampers Go to the Michelin tire web site listed below, it has complete charts/guides on how to properly figure out how much air pressure should be in each tire. http://www.michelinrvtires.com/michelinrvtires/hom_us.jsp
Also remember cold pressure not hot. Cold = tire not run on road for more than one mile. We also test each tire each day before start of travel by bump testing it. Any tool wood, hammer, will work to hear the sounds of a flat. You may not see the flat and this will blow the other tire.
