Topsail Hill RV park is about a mile south on 30A from the junction of US98. Park is just as great as all who have rated it claim. Scenic, level, paved sites........paved tramway (that runs on the hour) leads to the boardwalk that'll take you to the beach......Gulf of Mexico is about a mile from the RV sites, but the tramway doesn't cross any road. Biffy located at the boardwalk end. We took our bikes down this tramway, and there's no need to lock the bikes (at least when we were there in 2002). Hope Francis doesn't change your plans!
In a recent comment on rv.net someone had their bikes stolen from the beach bike rack at Topsail, so better safe than sorry.
