We are planning a trip in August to Glacier NP and are trying to find campgrounds in the park on the east side. Has anyone stayed at Two Medicine campground? I know there will be no "quiet" places in the park, but we would like to be as secluded as possible. We have a 27 foot motorhome and can either drydock or have hookups. Any help would be appreciated.
We have friends who have hosted there. The park is usually very quiet, but like all the parks at Glacier, it has become much more popular over the past few years. They have had times where they have had to call the rangers and have a few groups removed. Biggest problem is large groups of weekenders out of Canada. Young people also like the area because they feel they can get away with more since it is out of the way. During the peak season it will be packed, with all that goes with that. No way to avoid crowds at the major parks these days.
