A trio of us couples want to visit the UP in last 2 weeks of Sept, and are having a difficult time finding a suitable place for a week or so with electric & water, fulll hook ups would be great, but I feel is beyond reasonable expectations.
Here's additional complications: 2 couple, a 24' tt and a 26' class B+ are coming from the St. Louis area, while the third party, a 35' 5er, is coming from New England via Canada. The 5er requires 50 amp, the other 2, 30 is fine.
First preference for a campground, after above has been met, is easy walking distance to the shore, for rock/shell hunting, with a nice view. Don't want to go past Grand Marais, if possible.
All much prefer the trees of a state/federal park versus the parking lot of most commercial parks that are like a rv sales lot, but not closed to the idea.
    Help!

We stayed at the casino in Brimley, we spent I think a couple days there. Right on the water but not sure if it would meet all the requirements you have.
