Has anyone travel US 85 north from Cheyenne WY. up to Devils Tower? Were thinking of taking that route and was wondering what kind of road it is. Any help would be appricated
Hi, I travelled US 85 from Lusk to Newcastle in 2005. A two lane highway--not many hills and fairly narrow shoulders. Surface was in good condition. Make sure you have plenty of fuel--not many towns to fill up at--and generally speaking the farther north one travels the higher the cost of fuel.
