We are planning a trip to Maine and looking at the Wells Beach Resort.
I would like some feedback if you have stayed there or if you have suggestions for other CG's in that area.
    Thanks!

Love: It depends on what you're looking for. RV parks in the Wells area are popular and VERY crowded during the summer, as are the corresponding communities. The "southern coast" of Maine (i.e., anything south of Portland) will be long sand beaches, which many people like.

Northeast of Portland (e.g., Boothbay, Bar Harbor/Acadia) are less crowded...but are rocky outcroppings, rather than long expanses of sand. So it depends on what you are looking for...peering off cliffs at major wave action or walking long expanses of sand. Hopes this helps

THe place is beautiful and clean. The sites are a little tight but if you do not mind that you will be fine. Location is good. Management enforces the rules so be sure to read them, people have complained in the past because they did not follow the rules and the owners called them on it.
