    Hello, newbie here
I'm putting together an electrical system for an RV. Do I stick with 12 volt batteries or would 24 volt batteries be more beneficial in the long run?

Pretty much every RV accessory like furnaces, water pumps, lights, etc., are 12v. i would stick with a 12-volt system.

I want to build a solar system for my RV. I don't know if 4x100W Renogy panels is enough.

Oh, my - your question is waaaay over-simplistic. You don't say which "RV" this is, nor do you say which "batteries" you're contemplating.

Ordinarily, an RV has both "house batteries" and "starting batteries".

No way to answer your question without such detail.
