There is lots of information on the ultimate RV site but what about tent sites? Obviously a nice flat space with ground that is not full of rocks, but what else would be a good addition.
Being under thr trees. A short walk to the showerhouse. Have enough showers so a person doesn't have to stand in line 30 plus minutes for a shower.
What about having a couple of posts set up for hanging a hammock? or inground anchors for tiedowns for tarps in bad weather?
On a recent RV trip we traveled in a motor home, but here are two great tent spots. Mt Lassen KOA - we barely fit our RV in but there were really beautiful tent spots. Clean places to put the tent. Some privacy. Summit Lake campground in Lassen National Park. They do have smaller RVs here, but mostly tents. A drop dead gorgeous spot.
