I haven't been on the site since last summer and all I can say is "wow" it sure has changed. Where do I find the maps? I am using an IPad in landscape mode and don't get the maps. I use them more than anything when planning trips and now they're gone.
Most, if not all, iPad owners using them in landscape mode do see the maps. I'm not sure I've heard of anyone who doesn't. We own an iPad and we sure see the maps. I'm not sure what settings can be adjusted, but it's probably not thinking you have adequate resolution to view them. Can the resolution on an iPad be adjusted?
It's an iPad Air, less than a year old, and I can't find anywhere to change the resolution. Locked in landscape mode and a large part of the screen where map used to be is blank with the states listed down the left side like before. I loved using it before the change but now may have to find another "go to" site.
If you have a large part of the screen that blank where the map should be, then that sounds like a plug-in problem with your browser. Are you using Safari? You might want to consider using Chrome for iPad or another browser to see if you can see the maps with it. Note added later: It's not your iPad; mine doesn't display the maps either. I've reported the bug. Sorry; this wasn't how things were working the other day.
Thanks for reporting it and telling me I'm not going crazy. I really use this site a lot and would hate to have to give it up. I am using it in Safari.
