I would love to be able to rate parks on how the wifi works. I work online and wifi is important to me.
Assigning RV park WiFi a meaningful rating can be just as nebulous as rating cell services. Do you rate it based on the particular time of day you happen to be using it for instance? I think we're all familiar with parks that have pretty decent WiFi service at 8AM that completely falls apart in the 8PM prime time usage period when more people start streaming videos and such. Even the day of the week or time of year can make a significant difference as park occupancy varies. In my opinion, a comment included in your review that mentions how well or poorly the park WiFi worked for your particular needs should be sufficient for others to make a judgement of the possible usability for their needs, rather than a formal but likely inaccurate rating system.
I rate all campgrounds we stay at about the Wi-Fi. Also say how well it works or doesn't. As for having to have it for your work. You might want to look into getting your own set up so you don't have to rely on the campground's internet.
When I review a campground I will give the specifics first then give an overall opinion. Such as: Electric 50/30 good, Water pressure 45psi, Sewer good, Cable many channels some fuzzy, WiFi weak in my area or drops out often, concrete sige, Level, wide enough to walk around trailer long enough to park truck on site. Grass between sites with enough room to put out awnings. Campground was clean and office was very friendly. They showed us to the site and helped us park. The Pond was nice with all the ducks. Great park for family and overnight. Would stay here again if in the area This is a way for me to cover all the information I would like when reading reviews of a park. FWIW BC
That's an excellent, thorough review. It's easy to read and conveys a lot of information in a reasonable number of words.
