Wrong GPS Coordinates - Chinook RV Resort

The GPS coordinates and map URL are incorrect for this park. The park map on their site did not match the satellite image. I poked around and found the correct coordinates.

The correct coordinates seem to be:

41.5425023,-124.0520888

 

Thank you for bringing this error to our attention. However, according to Google Maps the correct coordinates for this park are: 41.542788, -124.052074 . I have verified these with Google Street View and this is definitely the Chinook RV Park.

 

The distance between those two sets of coordinates is about 100 feet.

 

It looks like the pin is set more in the park rather than at the entrance where they usually are set, but I don't think that should make a big difference.

 

That's where Google Maps happens to have its pin set for that park

 

There must have been some sort of internets glitch last time I clicked on the Google Map URL because that is certainly not where the pin came up. Oh well, seems to be working now.
