    Hello
We are real newbies with 23 ft Surveyor Legend Forrest River 3,800 lbs travel trailer we pull it with a 2018 VW Atlas . It has a 5,000 lb tow capacity.
We have a reservation at Camp Edison this weekend and are wondering whether we can get up the steep grade of Hwy 168 with our Atlas & trailer ?
If you have any suggestions they would be sincerely appreciated.

Since there are two engine options for the 2018 atlas, it would be helpful to know your engine size to determine if it is beefy enough to make the grades. More importantly is the Atlas stout enough to handle/stop the camper on the downward side. Going up the grade is easy, coming down the grade can be a white knuckle experience.
