    Engrpat,

I owe you an apology. I really thought you were confusing this site’s map with another one when you said it was supposed to have clickable locations for campgrounds. I answered your problem by saying that this map has never had clickable locations, but I may stand corrected. It seems another member is having the same problem. See his post titled “Campground Dots.” As I told him I have never seen clickable dots on the map I get, but apparently they do appear on some people’s computers. If that is the case (and apparently it is) I have no idea why the dots appear on the map on some computers and not others—including mine. Sorry if I confused the issue even more. And by the way I have XP not Vista, so in my case that is not the problem. Maybe someone else can tell all of us how to get the dots to show. It sounds like a great feature.

No problem l understand. I have talked with a couple of geeks that I know and all I get is a blank look......so when I need to zero in I will use my XP machine with Firefox althou it would be nice to be able to use the little dots on the laptop while traveling.
Thanks to all who took the time and interest to answer, much apprecated.
    Pat

Follow up....the problem is with the browser. If you use IE chances are you won't see them, if you use FireFox or Netscape you will. The things you learn on line. Thanks all!

    Hi Happiest Camper,

I use Firefox and the clickable map feature does not work for me. Windows XP Media Edition 64 bit. Any suggestions as to how to make it work?

I did find this on Google's help site - don't know if it will fix your problem:

MOZILLA FIREFOX VERSION 0.8 OR LATER
    1. Open Mozilla Firefox.
    2. Click on "Tools" > "Options" > "Privacy."
    3. Click "Cache" > "Clear Cache Now."
    4. Select "OK" to exit.

    Hi All,

I happened to be at another website where Javascript was started on my computer. Low and behold when I came to RV Park Reviews--the map was clickable!!! Now if I can just figure out how to get Javascript going before I need the map I'll be "in business".

    boater,

Don't know if you read back through all the posts to this thread and also the thread titled "Campground Dots, " but if you do I think you will see that the map you refer to is not the one we have been talking about. I was confused at first, too, but then realized that some people really do get blue dots on the US map that is on this site's home page. I don't get them on my computer so I originally thought the other people were confusing this site's map with another one. But people kept insisting they had blue dots that showed locations of campgrounds on this map. I finally used Cheryl's suggestion and used Netscape as my browser (I usually use Internet Explorer), and there they were on my computer, too. Other people say they are also visible if the Firefox browser is used. The epgsoft website you mentioned is really good, but I am pretty sure it is not the one this thread is referring to.
