Looking to spend some time tenting in Colorado. Looking for recommendations at the foot of mountain ranges. Also, recommendations on best time during the summer. Thanks in advance. Regards

Pretty wide open area to consider. do you want to hike into a wild area, or use established campsites? what will you be doing (fishing, hiking, rock climbing, just site seeing, ???)
    just yourself or family?

    regards,
    chris g.

I took my family to Copper Mountain this summer for some hiking, and let me tell you, the views were something else. We hiked some easy trails and a few challenging ones; every corner was like a postcard moment.

We were there from late June to early August. Weather's pretty steady, and you get those clear blue skies, which are great for those mountain views.

We flew in from Texas, and we got from DIA to Copper Mountain by chauffeured car. Our ride was a new GMC – super comfy and spacious.
