   Has anyone spent time in this area in Aug or September? Should we be concerned with storms? Hurricanes, etc??

   Well it is hurricane season so I would keep an eye on the weather. If a hurricane should form and heads in your location, heed the warnings from local officials and evacuate the area if told to do so.
