    Hello!
I am pretty new to RVing. We have a trip planned for this upcoming weekend to Thunder Bay from Hamilton, ON. We have a campground in Thunder Bay, but on the trip up and back, we thought we would try boondocking. I have an app that I downloaded, but I wondered if anyone has any suggestions on places to stop or not to stop around North Bay?

    Thanks in Advance!!

The Walmart in North Bay is popular for boondocking. It's attached to the mall right on the highway as you pass through North Bay. They do ask that you park over in the far area of the mall lot close to the TD bank. I've had to stay once while there and I definitely was not alone. Not a super quiet night, but not the worst sleep I've ever had. Not much in the area for boondocking other than that.

In case you run into a tight spot while up around Lake Superior the majority of rest/picnic stops are ok with you stopping for the night. Lots of stretches with nothing available and no cell service to search with. Have a great time!
