We are full timers and we used to run our refer on propane while going down the road. Our refer is under recall right now but cannot get the repair done to the propane line so we have turned off the propane feature. Since we only travel a few hours each day (less than 6) this is not a problem as long as the door stays closed. Also, remember if you do run on propane most enclosed ferries require you to turn propane off prior to boarding.
