    Hi All,

I'm looking for an RV park for an overnight stay between Bakersfield and Sacramento, preferrably not far off of I-5, but we can take 99 too if that seems a better idea. Something about halfway, or a little closer to Sac would be better than closer to Bakersfield. Just want someplace fairly clean, safe and with enough room for our 41' motorhome to get in and out easily. Ammenities, even hookups, aren't that important. Even a casino that allows overnight parking could work.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

If you want something just off the freeway, this is your best bet:

Kit Fox RV Park in Patterson, CA

    Read the reviews.

I stayed there twice, going up and down I-5 in California.

Tachi Palace Indian Casino in Lemoore, or NAS Lemoore if you have access to the base. They are both halfway between the I-5 and 99 off of the 41

We too have stayed at, recommend Kit Fox RV Park just off I-5, for this stretch of the road. Fuel stations and restaurants at the same exit. Not much of a 'destination' park, but sure fills the bill for: easy in & out, no hassle, neat, clean, friendly.

French Camp RV Resort, just south of Stockton, just off Hwy. 99. Stayed there a few years ago, it was pretty good. Recent reviews note some deterioration, however. It does have some train noise, but not too much (and I like trains anyway).

Flag City Rv Park is right on I-5 and about 35 miles south of Sacramento. Wine tasting in the Lodi area if you like that sort of thing.

:) There's a Passport America RV Park in Kingsburg, CA on Highway 99. The Viking RV Park is just off the highway in a grove of trees and has pull-thru sites. We stay there on our way between Bakersfield and Sacramento.
