Tip for Other Campers:
Do Not Miss Watertown Lake National Park. From this campground to the Park visitor center was a 45 minute drive. We saw 6 bears on the Akamina Parkway and a small herd of bison in the Bison Paddock. A good full day trip. Cardston Pizza on Main Street. Very good with good prices. On Main Street, KFC, McDonalds, Dairy Queen and A & W along with a Chinese...

Tips from campers about Lee Creek Campground
- Hiwaysbyways If you're going to visit Gatlinburg, or Pigeon Forge, stay closer to town because this place is a very long way out of town.
- wadebbi Go into Newport to get groceries, urgent care, drug store, or a regular priced meal.
- Chaps_out_camping Both downtown Gatlinburg, and pigeon Forge are convenient. I would recommend a drive-through smoky Mountain national Park, and Cades Cove. If youre looking for some places to hike, there are plenty along these two routes!
