Tips from campers about Long Point Park Campground
- Libby Went to Sebastian Inlet museum and well worth the state park entry fee. A lot to see at the state park. Tried Oceans 302 restaurant [Melbourne Beach] and pricy for dinner. Sebastian Beach Inn closed ! For good ?????6 years ago Long Point Park Campground

- Blowfishqueen The tackle shop/convenience store on the corner had fantastic smoked fish dip. The New England Eatery and Pub was tasty. We also ate at the Sebastian Roadside Restaurant which was really good. We would go back to both when we return. Publix to the north was 11 miles. Off road bike trail right at the part entrance along the mosquito control ditches and down to the marina and the park. Cool views! Biked over 20 miles to Jungle Road and Pelican Island. Great eating spots at the pier. Saw a dolphin chasing dinner and the next day, my friend went back to the pier and dolphin was joined by a manatee....

Tip for Other Campers:
Bike path to the right of the office is hard packed sand and goes around the peninsula coming out at the marina on A1 with paths along the highway. Melbourne Beach has some nice shops and restaurants. Canova dog beach north of Melbourne Beach is one of the only beaches allowing dogs. Most let their dog run in the waves, but were courteous of leashed dogs...
