“Wooded sites across from the lake”

Tip for Other Campers:
Besides a small catch-all type store just before the park entrance, there aren't any shops or restaurants near the state park. Remember when going to a Michigan State Park they charge a $40 non-resident permit fee required before entry. Spitz Campground offers spacious sites for trailers, but the grass patch needs TLC. Some groups have parties with loud music. Night was great though. The playgrounds could use some sprucing up....
