Take the boat tour of Pictured Rocks its great! Wine / beer tasting in town was fun also. Go see the local waterfalls and sit on the beach at Sand Point, drive back to Christmas or Au Train for beaches and rock hunting....

Tips from campers about Munising / Pictured Rocks KOA Journey
- ramblin' vagabonds Some mildly interesting waterfalls with short hikes in the area. Painted rocks are interesting, but we recommend seeing them by kayak or pontoon boat rather than on a cruise. Close to downtown Munising and Grand Marais. Went rockhunting at Grand Marais Public Beach/Agate Beach, Perry's Landing (I found the BEST agate I've ever seen during the day and a couple Yooperlites in the evening), Bay Furnace (has blue/black/purple slag glass). No rockhunting at Au Sable Point Lighthouse because it's part of the Pictured Rocks National...
