“Beautiful view of the Truckee River.”
Nightly Rate: $99 USD
We camped in our RV for 5 nights and enjoyed waking up to a beautiful view of the Truckee River every morning. We camped at River West Resort in a Motorhome.

Short walk to the River Walk trail. Walk down 2nd street to Keystone, turn right, and in about 1 block there is a pedestrian ramp down to the trail....

Tip for Other Campers:
Idlewild park is a short drive (just across the Truckee River) and probably accessible by walking. Beautiful park with river access, bike trail (Tahoe-Pyramid Trail) and plenty of green space for pups. Homeless are there but not as much as the downtown parks....
Tips from campers about River West Resort
- luvdoggiez Take a walk downtown and check out the Eddy a cool 'Hang out' spot in Reno next to the river that wanders through town. For motorhomes longer than 20 feet, go out the driveway you come in. The normal exit driveway is too steep and you will scrape in the back end as you head out.6 years ago River West Resort

The staff goes extra mile to help. Lots of trees and very clean. We camped at River West Resort in a Travel Trailer.

“Quiet, but close to downtown Reno”

Quick check-in. Came out to my truck. Very friendly. Clean park. Easy to navigate. About 25 sites for transient RVers. No problem with utilities. Huge park across the river for walking. Reno about 1/2...

Tip for Other Campers:
Make sure you exit the park at the Entrance with your trailer. The Exit is very steep and they do have a sign to warn you....

“Turning from Keystone Ave. onto 2nd Street NW is super tight. Had to go onto curb to make the turn.”
